Spooky Goosebumps Update

As you may have noticed, we’re between books right now. All of the books! We’re taking the rest of this week off to get ready for everything coming up in the next few weeks, so get excited.

Our poll for our annual Goosebumps reading was a dead heat between One Day At HorrorLand and Welcome to Camp Nightmare. Ariel and I decided that we had more interest in reading One Day at HorrorLand, so that’s going to be our new Monday/Tuesday book! You can look forward to us starting that next week and wrapping it up the day after Halloween.

Meanwhile, Calendar Girl will switch to our Thursday/Friday book. We start reading Book 2 next week! Spoiler: it’s still bonkers.

And for those of you who have been waiting for our return to House of Night, you don’t have to wait much longer. Once we finish this year’s Goosebumps, we’ll be resuming with Book 5, Hunted. Now’s your chance to brush up on House of Night, because… actually, it’s probably not going to make much sense one way or the other. It’s House of Night.

Ah yeah House of Night! Spoiler alert: they spent like 99% of the book making stupid pop culture references and viciously insulting Aphrodite for no reason in between casting circles and eating sugary foods for breakfast.

I mean I don’t remember what actually happens in that book, but I just assume. It might be around this book that Zoey increasingly references poop and her IBS. Fun!
