Our beloved Lazy Reader’s Guide, which is widely read by about 10 people, has returned! Rejoice!

Sweet Valley Confidential:

Elizabeth tries to determine when Todd and Jessica began their affair, which is difficult, since she thought they despised each other. Jessica like flashes back to when like the affair like begins.

  • Elizabeth meets a playwright who looks just like Todd!
  • He is a jerk and won’t give her an interview about his play.
  • Elizabeth tries to plot revenge with greatest hits like, “Going to the wedding and tell Todd and Jessica they are terrible! Then leaving.” Or “Writing a letter to Jessica telling her about the times she had sex with Todd also.”
  • Elizabeth and Jessica both recall a night in college when Todd didn’t want to go to a party alone, so Elizabeth forced Jessica to go with him.
  • Jessica remembers when she and Todd started their affair that night after the party. First, they pretend Jessica is Elizabeth and they outrageously hold hands. Then Jessica calls Todd, “Mr. Basketball”, and all bets are off.
  • They meet at a diner frequently and don’t have sex. Sordid affairs are sordid and filled with pancakes.

Beautiful Redemption:

Thomas shows up in time to kick Sawyer out of Liis’ apartment, and open up emotionally about his family. Then Liis finds out there is a double agent in their midsts, but who cares because she gets to share an umbrella with Thomas.

  • Thomas can’t tell his family he’s in the FBI because it would go against his mother’s dying wishes.
  • Liis keeps thinking Thomas is talking about Cami when he’s talking about his mother. It’s weird.
  • The friendship between Liis and Val continues to be unconvincing and confusing.
