I came in late to this, and I’m so glad I did. Don’t know what’s going on, but this is amazing.
I recently found this blog because I got SO BORED during quarantine I decided to read 50 shades of Grey (I was VERY close to reading twilight but HAPPENED to have access to 50 shades, and its sequel! Don’t ask…I’m telling you, you do NOT want to know). Anyway, after exactly one chapter I couldn’t take it anymore (HOW CAN IT BE THIS BAD?! I asked myself) and found your blog, I’m sure through some search as “why is 50 shades of grey SO BAD?!”
Let me tell you, I have NOT been disappointed. Since then I have been bingeing your series on 50 Shades (its MUCH better if you read it as a comedy! I’ve laughing for days!!!) but there is something I have been DYING to tell you! The pants thing! I can explain! Now, it has been 8 (YIKES) years since those blog posts came out, so in case you have forgotten (I really hope you have….) Ana has this thing where she is always talking about how Christian Grey’s pants “hang loosely off his hips….in that way” and you seemed to despair about not understanding! Lesbian student of human sexuality to the rescue! I think (cannot be more certain that “think” because none of the characters motivation’s are at ANY time clear or understandable at all) she is talking about when a very muscular man has that “V” and he wears his pants really low, it looks like they’re going to fall off….and you know that implies readiness for sex and athleticism which is attractive to many partners….okay and I’ve definitely succeeded in explaining AWAY the sexiness here, right?
Anyway, in case this has been PLAGUING your mind for all these years.
