Books Are Dead Long Live Books

Hello, dear readers.

Having wrapped up Trigger Warning and thinking about what’s next for Bad Books Good Times, Ariel and I have decided to take a bit of a hiatus. We’re going to continue doing the new video content with the KFC dating sim (and other visual novels in the future???) every other week or so. But we’re taking a sabbatical with the book blog while we assess what manner of silliness is next for us: what books are we interested in, what makes sense for the still sort of in-progress podcast we want to spin off, and giving ourselves a bit of breathing room to get more comfortable with the video game content we’ve been interested in for a while but have only just started to dabble in. And just giving ourselves a bit of breathing room because, hey, we’ve been doing this almost nonstop for eight years now.

So this space isn’t going to be totally quiet! There’s the aforementioned let’s play videos (of games we play so you don’t have to), our lil Discord community is active, and we’ll have some bips and boops of new stuff we’re working on here and possibly on other platforms. But we’re taking a little break from the bad books part of Bad Books Good Times.

As our oldest friend Christian Grey would say.

Laters, baby.

I totally understand that you two need some time to rest and think, but I won’t lie, Stephenie Meyer’s just announced that she’ll finally release Midnight Sun and I was already hoping that you would read that kkkkkk
